The house with no walls
In march 2020, the world came to a halt due to Covid-19 pandemic. We were all forced to stay locked inside our houses. There is no skepticism that the year was demanding for all of us regardless of the place we belong to. A time where we all traded our freedoms for the greater good and safety of all. Apart from everything this year taught, it showed us how grateful we as humans are for certain things in our lives. This includes a home, a shelter, a roof on our head in such arduous times; A place to call home, a place to always come back to no matter where life leads us. While a lot of us have been privileged to have this luxury of home and a roof, a lot of people faced these difficult times without a shelter on their head, in open.
The illustration depicts the beauty one finds to live with even without the luxury of a home. “The house with no walls” is an expression of desire to break these walls which captivated us for months. Housed inside the small dwellings, the realization stuck us hard that the development in 21st century needs a lot of contemplation. With bare minimum daylights and vents for fresh air circulation, one’s desire to breath and live in open has been depicted through the illustration. In the end the question remains– Where truly the home is?

Color out of line
Color out of line is a carefree attempt at reliving the childhood that depicts an intentional deviation from traditional coloring techniques. The purpose of this artwork seems to be to evoke a sense of nostalgia for the freedom and creativity of childhood, where there were no clear boundaries or rules when it came to expressing oneself through art.
